Brazilian Coffee
Brazil is the largest coffee producer in the world and some coffee snobs will tell you its growers are more interested in producing quantity rather than quality. But Brazil is home to some of the most passionate coffee producers in the world, producing great quality coffee beans with a range of flavour profiles you'll want to discover. Explore the variety of growing regions like Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo and many more and see why coffee snobs should really rethink their view of Brazil coffee producers.
Wonderfully versatile coffee beans
While you might be familiar with Brazilian coffee as a good bean for making espresso, its low acidity means it has the depth of flavour to make it a great base for any cup of coffee. Full-bodied and with naturally sweet chocolate and caramel notes, Brazilian coffee changes and develops in taste with every sip, making it perfect for a longer drink, with or without milk.
Generations of expertise in every cup
Coffee is a way of life for so many Brazilians, with farms staying in the same families for generations. We work closely with the Chaves de Brito family in the world-famous Sul de Minas region to source coffee for our Single Origin 1 coffee. The Tres Pontas municipality in Minas Gerais in Brazil - named after the three peaks that dominate the skyline - is home to more than 50 million coffee trees that produce green coffee that, when roasted, have the most delicious chocolate, caramel and cherry flavours.
Speciality coffee that's perfect for blends
Brazilian coffee is perfect on its own, but it also works brilliantly in blends, enhancing the flavours of other coffee from around the world to create something truly unique. Our House Blend 1 features 60 per cent Brazil Santos paired with beans from the Gayos mountains in Sumatra. The natural nuttiness and creaminess of the Brazil Santos coffee perfectly compliments the sweetness of the Sumatra beans, creating a specialty coffee with delicious chocolate, hazelnut and cherry flavours.
Carefully roasted to let the natural flavour shine
Brazilian crops needs careful treatment to retain the natural flavours of the coffee cherries, particularly when coffee production is carried out with such love and care. Our Brazil coffee is fresh roasted in our in-house roastery, using years of experience and state of the art automation to ensure the great taste is consistent roast after roast. Our Brazilian coffee is then packed as whole beans, or ground to use in a variety of coffee makers, for you to enjoy how you like it, when you like it. Just the great flavours of Brazil, grown with care and roasted with love.
